Berlin Photo Diary Part I
Hey everyone!
I’m back! My weekend in Berlin was amazing and waaay too short! Julia and I had a wonderful time and even the cold weather couldn’t stop us. (; There happenend so much during those three days so I thought I just let my pictures do the talking. But first you’ll get a little overview on how we spent our time in this vibrant city.
On Friday we did a bus tour around Berlin to get some orientation and to see all the important sights. On that day we were lucky and the sun was shining, yaaaay! After coming back to the hotel, which was ah-mazing by the way, we went out to dinner to a really cool asian restaurant. The atmosphere was both hip and relaxed and the food was delicious – I tried soba noodles with shrimps and veggies, yummiiiiee! <3 Okay back to business.
Saturday was dedicated to shopping (surprise). Kudamm, KaDeWe, Hackesche Höfe and Primark, we went everywhere! Although Primark was SUCH a disappointment! It was too crowded, too stuffy, too many items, just overall too much. The clothes were of bad qualitiy and unfortunately you could see that… Maybe it’s different in another city? Anyway, we had our Primark adventure and hope for a better one in the future. I’ll also do a haul post during the next days, so stay tuned!
Sunday was all about the cultural stuff. Actually we wanted to visit the Fernsehturm, but there were so many people, we would have had to wait three hours! oO We went out there faster than you can say ‚Alexanderplatz‘. Our alternative was even better: the panorama platform at Potsdamer Platz. Just a few other people were there and we had, like, the best view ever – WITH the Fernsehturm in the distance. This would have been rather difficult if we went up there. (; Afterwards we wanted to go to the East Side Gallery, but ended up somewhere entirely different. Turns out there’s more than one Mühlenstraße in Berlin… *coughcough* Okay, so back to Potsdamer Platz, get some pasta at Vapiano and then straight to the Pergamon Museum. I’ve already been there with school two years ago and I’m stoked every time. If you’re in Berlin make sure to go there, it’s amazing!
There were so many other interesting and wonderful things, but this post has to come to an end sometime. (; So enjoy the pictures below and have a great evening! Part II will follow soon!
Friday morning (or night?), waaay too early…
Molton Brown Products in our bathroom! I’m in heaven. <3
Our first dinner at an asian restaurant. Please excuse the bad lighning, but it was all purple and pink suddenly! ^^
Stay tuned for part II of my Berlin Photo Diary!
