Tested: Catrice Blush Tint

If you’re rather pale like me, there’s one thing that makes you look healthy in an instant – blush. It does not just work for pale skin tones, it works basically for everyone. What differs, though, is the shade. No matter if you prefer powder, cream, stain, gel or liquid, once applied correctly, it will brighten up your whole complexion and you get that healthy, just-in-from-the-cold glow.
I’ve always been interested in liquid blushes, but I didn’t know how good I would come along with it. Benefit’s Benetint and Posietint are both very well known and highly recommended, but spending more than 30€ just to try it out? Wasn’t an option for me. So I was very glad as I saw that CATRICE now had a liquid blush among their range of products. And here’s what I think of CATRICE’s Blush tint in Rose Flush.

//Wenn ihr eher blass seid, so wie ich, dann gibt es eine Sache, die einen innerhalb von Sekunden gesund aussehen lässt – Rouge. Natürlich funktioniert das nicht nur bei blassen Hauttönen, es funktioniert praktisch bei jedem. Das einzige, was sich jedoch unterscheidet, is der Farbton. Ganz egal ob ihr Puder-, Creme-, Stift-, Gel- oder Flüssigrouge bevorzugt, einmal korrekt aufgetragen lässt es euer ganzes Gesicht strahlen und gibt euch diesen gesunden, komme-gerade-von-draußen Look.
Flüssigrouge hat mich schon immer interessiert, aber ich wusste nie genau, wie gut ich damit klar kommen würde. Benetint und Posietint von Benefit sind sehr bekannt und werden auch stark weiter empfohlen, aber mehr als 30€ ausgeben, um es mal auszuprobieren? Kam für mich nicht in Frage. Deswegen war ich umso erfreuter, als ich gesehen habe, dass CATRICE ein Flüssigrouge neu im Sortiment hat. Und hier könnt ihr lesen, was ich von dem Blush tint in Rose Flush von CATRICE halte.

The consistency is more like a gel, but I personally think that this is good, this way it does not run down your entire cheek the second you apply it.
The colour may seem very intense at first, but on the skin it is waaay lighter. I even needed to apply two or three layers to notice a visible change. But I do recommend to start slowly and rather build up colour, than to look like a clown.
The application was unexpectedly easy, the blending works very well, it isn’t too intense and not sticky at all. What I did notice, though, is that it is very long-lasting. Which is good, of course, but if you choose to apply it with your fingers, you need to wash them afterwards. And this will take some time, even with soap. Very resistant, this stuff. (;
All in all CATRICE’s Blush tint gives you a really healthy glow, which looks absolutely natural and is perfect for summer, since you can apply it on ‚bare‘ skin. If you’re like me and you just want to try it out, this is a good choice. Now I know, that I come along pretty good with liquid blushes and maybe some time I will try out one of the Benefit-Buddies.

//Die Konsistenz ist eher wie ein Gel, was ich persönlich jedoch als gut empfand, da es so nicht sofort das halbe Gesicht runter läuft.
Die Farbe mag im ersten Moment sehr intensiv aussehen, aber auf der Haut ist sie laaange nicht so krass. Ich musste sogar zwei bis drei Schichten auftragen, um einen sichtbaren Effekt zu erzielen. Dennoch empfehle ich, mit wenig anzufangen und die Farbintensität langsam aufzubauen, bevor man wie ein Clown aussieht.
Das Auftragen war unerwartet leicht, das Verblenden klappt sehr gut, es ist nicht zu intensiv und überhaupt nicht klebrig. Was mir aber jedoch aufgefallen ist, ist dass es sehr langanhaltend ist. Was natürlich gut ist, klar, aber wenn ihr euch dafür entscheidet, es mit den Fingern aufzutragen, müsst ihr sie danach gründlich waschen. Und das wird Zeit benötigen, sogar mit Seife. Ziemlich resistent, der Gute. (;
Alles in allem verhilft einem der Blush tint von CATRICE wirklich zu einem gesunden Glow, welcher total natürlich aussieht und perfekt für den Sommer ist, da man ihn auf ’nackter‘ Haut auftragen kann (und soll). Wenn es euch so wie mir geht und ihr so etwas erst mal ausprobieren wollt, ist dieser genau das Richtige für euch. Jetzt weiß ich, dass ich mit Liquid Blushes gut zurecht komme und vielleicht, vielleicht werde ich mich später mal an einen der beiden Benefit Freunde wagen.
