Lip Products with SPF

Hey everyone!

Finally, finally, finally summer is here! And this time hopefully longer than for a few days. And summer means protecting your skin from the sun. Yeah I know you probably can’t hear it anymore, but it definitely is important. But not only your skin needs protection, did you know that your lips also can get a sunburn? Yes, and it is so painful, you really don’t want to experience this, trust me.
Of course applying normal sunscreen isn’t the best solution, since it is made for your body or your face, but not for the delicate skin of your lips. Your lips do not have sebaceous glands so they need moisture, which you get from lip balms, for example with shea butter or jojoba oil. And some products even combine moisture and SPF, so you get the best of both worlds. (;
Now I’ll show you some of my lip products, which contain SPF and which I use daily in the summer (of course not all of them at once ^^).

Endlich, endlich, endlich ist der Sommer da! Dieses Mal hoffentlich länger, als nur für ein paar Tage. Und Sommer bedeutet, die Haut vor der Sonne zu schützen. Ja ich weiß, ihr könnt es vielleicht schon nicht mehr hören, aber es ist nunmal wichtig. Aber nicht nur eure Haut braucht Sonnenschutz, wusstet ihr, dass auch eure Lippen einen Sonnebrand bekommen können? Ja, und es ist so schmerzhaft, ihr wollt es nicht erleben, glaubt mir.
Natürlich ist es nicht ratsam, normale Sonnencreme aufzutragen, da sie für den Körper oder das Gesicht gemacht ist, aber nicht für die empfindliche Haut der Lippen. Diese haben nämlich keine Talgdrüsen, sodass sie Feuchtigkeit benötigen, die Lippenpflegeprodukte bieten, zum Beispiel mit Sheabutter oder Jojoba Öl. Und manche Produkte verbinden sogar Pflege mit Sonnenschutz, sodass ihr das Beste von beidem bekommt. (;
Nun zeige ich euch ein paar meiner Lippenprodukte, die mit Lichtschutzfaktor ausgestattet sind und die ich im Sommer täglich benutze (natürlich nicht alle auf einmal ^^)

Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Soother: Cooling Hydragel, perfect for hot days, amaaaazing taste, ‚Gleam‘, SPF 20 (this is from America, I think it’s not available in Germany)
Clinique Long Last Glosswear: Very long lasting gloss, shimmery, a bit sticky, ‚Air Kiss‘, SPF 15

Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Soother: Kühlendes Feuchtigkeitsgel, perfekt für heiße Tage, gaaanz toller Geschmack, ‚Gleam‘, LSF 20 (der ist aus Amerika, ich glaube er ist in Deutschland nicht verfügbar)
Clinique Long Last Glosswear: Sehr gute Haltbarkeit, mit Schimmer, klebt ein kleines bisschen, ‚Air Kiss‘, LSF 15

Of course there are more lip products with SPF on the market, for example you can get other ones from Blistex, Labello, Manhattan, Carmex, …
The consistency does not differ from lip products without SPF, no worries.
So check the packaging the next time you’re looking for a new lip gloss, stain or stick!

Die Konsistenz unterscheidet sich nicht von Lippenprodukten ohne LSF, also keine Angst.
Also schaut nächstes Mal genau hin, wenn ihr einen neuen Lipgloss, Stain oder Lippenstift sucht!
