Nike – Just Doing It Since 2009

Let’s clear this up once and for all: women can never have enough shoes. Biker boots, Chelseas, riding boots, overknees, strappy heels, sandals, flats, Louboutins (don’t you dare to ask ‚wtf are Louboutins?‘), sneakers, Converse, combat boots, slip ons, loafers… There’s just no such thing as having ‚enough shoes‘. Some of them stay with us for just one season, other pairs accompany us for maybe two years, then they’re replaced and slowly forgotten in the back of our closets and then… then there are those pairs that we may not wear every single day, but still pull out once in a while, the ones we would never ever forget or throw away, the ones we still love after several years (I’m talking four years and more) and which will always have a place in our hearts… It’s amazing how women can feel about shoes, huh? I mean, who needs Mr. Right when you finally can afford those perfect Louboutins. (;
Just kidding, I think you get what I’m trying to say here. I am lucky enough to already have found such a pair of shoes. In my case it’s not a pair of killer heels that makes me feel like I have Victoria’s Secret worthy legs, nope. In my case it’s a pair of Nikes, the Nike Dunk Hi WMNS Premium to be exact. I’ve been owning (and of course wearing) them since 2009 (!!) and I do not love them any less by today. They went with me to Hamburg, New York, Berlin, Austria, Italy, had to endure rain, snow, heat and several hip hop lessons, but they still look pretty good.  Anyway, a few days ago I had the urge to dress a bit sporty and go back to basics – perfect occasion for that beloved pair of Nikes! So, enough with the glorification, here’s a new OOTD!
