Fligh High - Red Bull X-Fighters 2014

Hey everyone!

If there’s something that makes my heart beat faster within milliseconds (besides beauty products, obviously) it’s freestyle motocross. I just can’t get enough of the sound of the bikes, the breath-taking stunts, the buzzing energy, the exciting atmosphere, how the drivers twist and turn – it’s amazing. Extra bonus points if the drivers have tattoos, of course. (; Anyway, in 2012 I watched the Red Bull X-Fighters for the first time and I’ve been hooked ever since. It was even more spectacular than the Night Of The Jumps and I couldn’t wait for them to return. As I saw the poster announcing their return to Germany in 2014 there was no doubt that I HAD to see them again. And I’m so glad I did. For the first time ever the track was built on a lake – just think about that for a second: a track on the water!! These people are so crazy… And what was even more fantastic, 16 year old German freestyle motocross rider Luc Ackermann was one of the competitors! Wenn es etwas gibt, was mein Herz innerhalb von Millisekunden 1000 Mal schneller schlagen lässt, dann ist es Freestyle Motocross. Ich liebe einfach alles daran, das Geräusch der Maschinen, die atemberaubenden Stunts, die unglaubliche Energie, die Anspannung, wie die Fahrer sich und das Bike scheinbar mühelos durch die Luft bewegen – es ist der Wahnsinn. Vor ca. zwei Wochen hatte ich das Glück zum zweiten Mal die Red Bull X-Fighters sehen zu dürfen – und das auch noch auf einer Strecke auf dem Wasser! Ich meine Hallooo?! Und dann war auch noch der 16 jährige Luc Ackermann dabei, wenn ihr diesen verrückten Kerl noch nicht kennt, dann schaut unbedingt mal auf seiner Seite vorbei!
